SPAIN . . . Mediterranean
Paradise
Spain is a land
of striking contrasts and endless varieties—bullfights,
bodegas, flamenco guitars, seaside cafes,
picturesque villages, cosmopolitan Madrid,
the fabled city of Granada with its Arabian
Nights palace — Alhambra, and the list
goes on. . . NOW it is also the mecca for
golfers—with dozens of championship
courses it is not difficult to understand
why the Costa del Sol is called the COSTA
DEL GOLF. |

the Costa del Sol. Drive the short distance
to the Marbella area, time to relax and

at Nueva Andalucia —

not soon forget.
Day 3 — A drive
into the hills to Mijas
and the two courses, Los Olivos

to Sotogrande where you
will find two championship courses; Sotogrande
GC and Valderama GC
certainly two of the most memorable on
the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
A short distance from Sotogrande you will
find Gibralter. Take time to visit "the
Rock" where you can see WWII remnants.
Day 5 — Take the
day and enjoy an excursion to Granada
where the Moorish influence is so easily
seen. The fabulous Alhambra will fascinate
you with its intricate artwork.
Day 6 — Your venue
today will be Torrequebrada,
considered by most to be one of the finest
on the Costa del Sol. This course, designed
by five-time Spanish amateur champion
Pepe Gancedo, is tough and will take all
the talent you have to win!
